NC Legislative Breakfast on Mental Health- 4-21-18
Volunteers needed: NAMI is recruiting volunteers 18-35 who are living in recovery from mental illness who are interested in sharing their stories with high school and middle school students through the NAMI Ending the Silence program. Training is provided.
Debuting it last year with over 400 entrants, we are excited to put on our second annual Glenaire 5k! The 5k will benefit The Presbyterian Homes, Inc. in its mission to serve older adults throughout North Carolina with beautiful housing and superior services and care in one of our communities. Because Glenaire has never asked any resident to leave simply because they have outlived their resources through no fault of their own, through your donations and fundraisers like this one we are able to continue our passion for delivering compassionate care to others.
So bring your strollers, your skates, your sneakers, and your friends and race, walk, or roll with us to the finish line at our Second Annual Glenaire 5k! We will see you there.

We’re starting early to gear up for the primaries in May and the general election in November, and we would love to have Peace students actively involved in Get Out the Vote work on campus and in the community.
Our student leaders get experience in running political campaigns (without a candidate), recruiting and managing volunteers, and running voter registration and education drives and phone banks to get out the vote. Do you know any students interested in volunteering and/or looking for an internship? If so, please pass those names along. Also, can you circulate our kickoff training in Raleigh for March, 4. It’s off campus but rides are available for students. Here’s the link to the event, and attached is the flyer
