On Going Service Needs

Salvation Army 

Coat Giveaway across the parking lot from Center of Hope at 1863 Capital Blvd. in the Donation Warehouse
Volunteers are needed to assist with giving coats out to families in need. Every Wednesday until mid-March, 9:30am-1pm.
Soup Line
Serve a hot meal to the hungry, and help the kitchen staff with any needs        
Monday - Friday, 4:30pm-6:00pm Volunteers must be 14 or older, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.


Family Thrift Store

Help turn donations into program funding! Sort items in our store.
Monday – Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday, 9am-6pm
 Volunteers must be 14 or older, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Shelter Meal

Provide a meal and serve it to the residents of our Women and Children's Shelter. Great group activity! Meals must be fully prepared and able to feed all our residents ranging from 75-85 individuals
Dinner at 6 p.m. any night of the week! Also, Breakfast at 7:30am-8 a.m. & Lunch at 12pm. on weekend (volunteers must be 18 or older to help serve)


Athletic Program
(ages 16 and up)
Volunteers are needed to help referee youth sports, keep score, manage equipment, run the concession stand, and more!
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday-evenings & All day Saturday. Various days & time depending on season.

Emergency Women & Children's Shelter
(Must be 18 or older)
· Volunteers spend time tutoring/mentoring the children staying in the shelter:
Monday & Thursday, 6:30pm - 8:30pm

· Volunteers can also help plan a program or have volunteers assist with Family Fun Night
Wednesday 6:30pm -8:30pm



Circle of Parents: Children's Group (Must be 18 or older)
Volunteers are also needed to watch young children while moms attend skills and job training classes:
Tuesday evening from 6:30pm -8:30pm
