We’re
starting early to gear up for the primaries in May and the general election in
November, and we would love to have Peace students actively involved in Get Out
the Vote work on campus and in the community.
Our
student leaders get experience in running political campaigns (without a
candidate), recruiting and managing volunteers, and running voter registration
and education drives and phone banks to get out the vote. Do you know any
students interested in volunteering and/or looking for an internship? If so,
please pass those names along. Also, can you circulate our kickoff training in
Raleigh for March, 4. It’s off campus but rides are available for students.
Here’s the link to
the event, and attached is the flyer.
