1. FOOD SOURCING AND PURCHASING MANAGER

The Food Sourcing/Purchasing Manager role is key to the success of the Food Recovery and Distribution operations and directly supports other IFFS programs and divisions. The Food Sourcing/Purchasing Manager will develop, implement and track sourcing of all food product in collaboration with local donors, local retail stores, Feeding America’s donation allocation system, local farmers, gleaning groups, and food vendors while adhering to IFFS’ budget and values, nutrition policy, business rules, and food safety programs.

2. PAYROLL ASSISTANT

This payroll assistant assists with daily payroll functions.  An excellent payroll clerk has great understanding of the concept of confidentiality. You will be experienced in entering data with attention to detail and will have good math skills to make the necessary calculations. The ideal candidate will be a thorough professional with effective communication abilities. The goal of this position is to carry out all payroll procedures with speed and accuracy.

3. RESEARCH ASSISTANT

Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is looking for a graduate student or graduate to serve as a research assistant to conduct data analysis and support evaluation planning and implementation. The Research Assistant utilizes research best practices to work with the director and individual program leadership staff to develop evaluation plans, surveys, and protocols to implement evaluation throughout IFFS programs. The position entails analysis of survey data using Google sheets, Excel, and possible integration into SalesForce.

4. CATERING CHEF

Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is looking for a qualified catering chef. The primary responsibility is to prepare and execute catering functions on and off property.

5. DRIVER

Interacting directly with food donors and partner agencies, drivers are a key player on Inter-Faith Food Shuttle’s Food Recovery and Distribution Team.  Inter-Faith Food Shuttle recovers and distributes nearly 23,000 pounds of food every day.  The food is recovered from manufacturers, wholesalers, grocery stores, local farmers and restaurants, before being distributed to partner agencies and people in need throughout the community. Food Shuttle drivers recover and deliver this life sustaining food to people struggling with hunger.

1. CHILDHOOD HUNGER PROGRAMS INTERN

The Childhood Hunger Programs Intern will work directly with the Programs Coordinator and the Volunteer Manager to supervise Childhood Hunger Programs volunteers.

Miracle League of The Triangle- Volunteer Opportunities!

The Miracle League of the Triangle’s 2018 Spring Season will open March 20th and end May 19th. Games take place at 2 locations; in Cary at 805 Cary Towne Blvd. and North Wake at 3011 Queensland Rd., Raleigh. Our Youth Leagues (K-12) play on Friday evenings and all-day Saturdays. Our Adult Leagues will play on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
